OPINION: Jake Mead's vision for Hillsboro 'not just idle talk'

As a long-time Hillsboro resident, I urge you to vote for Jake Mead for Hillsboro City Council. I believe this upcoming election offers us an opportunity to bring positive and effective leadership to our community. That is why I am supporting Jake Mead for Hillsboro City Council, Ward 2, Position B.

I have had the opportunity to speak with Jake one-on-one, and it's obvious he genuinely cares about the future of our city. Jake is accessible, easy to talk with, and he approaches problems with a level head and with a strong desire to build a better future for all of us. Jake has consistently shown his commitment to addressing the issues that matter to us. Whether it's improving our local infrastructure, supporting small businesses, or ensuring our public services are operating efficiently and are funded. His visions for moving Hillsboro forward are not just idle talk — he listens to resident's concerns, values our input, and he has a track record for results.

I believe Jake Mead has the passion, the skill, and the integrity to serve Hillsboro well. Let's make sure citizen voices are heard by voting for Jake Mead on Tuesday, Nov. 5!
