Eat your way around the Washington County Fair

The world of fair food is as perplexing as it is delicious (seriously, who thought to put all that in the deep fryer?).

At the 2024 Washington County Fair, which runs July 19-28 at the Westside Commons in Hillsboro, there will be no shortage of greasy grub to get your hands on.

The food court is situated near the main stage, where fair attendees can also catch a performance by the North Plains’ own country queen , Jacquie Roar, and other fair headliners .

There will be about 30 food vendors, offering county fair classics like turkey legs and funnel cakes, as well as more unique options, like whatever a "sasquatch sandwich" is.

Nearby is the fair tap house, which also has its own stage with performers scheduled throughout the week.

Entrance to the fair is free, but those looking to hit the midway will need to purchase tickets or a wristband to ride.
