Celebrating a decade of its popular Farm Fresh events, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce is doubling down with a new experience this summer: Farm Fresh Uncorked.

The celebration is set for 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 24 at the picturesque Marion Acres and Helvetia Farm Market, both located at 23137 N.W. West Union Road in Hillsboro. The event also marks the continuation of the chamber’s partnership with Kaiser Permanente as title sponsor.

“Farm Fresh Uncorked promises to be a day filled with celebration, exceptional tastes and community spirit,” a release said. “Marking a decade of bringing together the finest local food, wine and crafts, Farm Fresh Uncorked is set to be the most exciting event yet.”

Attendees, the release continued, can sample wines from local vineyards, nosh on “delicious bites” imagined by local chefs, take a gander at unique crafts and products created by local artisans, all while being serenaded by musicians throughout the day. There will also be opportunities for wine enthusiasts to engage and learn from expert winemakers.

"We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Farm Fresh Events with this special 'Uncorked' edition,” Deanna Palm, president and CEO of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, said. “This event not only showcases the best of our local agriculture and small businesses but also fosters a sense of community and support for our vibrant local economy.”

The chamber of commerce is holding the event as a demonstration of “how it supports the vibrant agricultural and small business community in the greater Washington County region.

“Participation in this event helps sustain and grow the local economy,” the release said. “Whether attendees are wine enthusiasts, foodies or supporters of local artisans, Farm Fresh Uncorked has something special to offer.”

That includes attendees looking for a little something extra, an “elevated experience” VIP package that offers gourmet bites, private seating areas, premium parking and early access to winemakers before the event opens to the public.

Tickers are on sale for $50 for the Wine Pass and $80 for the VIP Experience; those under age 18 attend for free.
