AAA’s Mid-Atlantic spokesperson, Morgan Dean, reports that the national average rose by only 2 cents last week, currently at $3.52 per gallon. In the Charlottesville area, the price of a gallon of gas stands at $3.43, just a penny higher than it was at this time last year.
