A somber note pervaded the neighborhood as fire engulfed a Mexican grocery store in Dover, resulting in the loss of one life, local fire officials have confirmed. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) reported receiving distress calls around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, with reports of fire and smoke visible at the Mexican American Grocery located at 3223 Sydney Dover Road. According to ABC Action News, the arriving HCFR crews were met with a structure fully engulfed by flames.

TAMPA, Fla. — Success 4 Kids & Families will soon be absorbed by the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. On Monday, the two local non-profits announced they will merge operations with a projected date for the transition to be complete set for January 1, 2025. Deputies: Sister of man who ran over Hillsborough deputy arrested for helping him
TAMPA, Fla. — Another person was arrested in connection to an incident that left a Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy hospitalized. Deputy Kalin Hall was run over by a driver he tried to pull over on July 5. The man who rammed into him, named William Lewis Jr., was arrested a few days later along with his girlfriend, Keilise Garrison, who was accused of helping him. On Tuesday, deputies said Lewis' sister, Brianna Jeffries, was also arrested for helping her brother.

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a stabbing in Port Richey around 8:20 a.m., where an adult male victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
