Professor Eddie S. Glaude Jr. *97 Challenges Readers to Meet Political Challenges
The book: In We Are the Leaders We Have Been Looking For (Harvard University Press), Eddie S. Glaude Jr. *97 challenges America to take control of our democracy. Sharing a mix of anecdotes and analysis on the writing of great thinkers from Ralph Waldo Emerson to Toni Morrison, Glaude encourages readers to grasp the lessons from the texts and apply them to our current situation. Instead of waiting to be saved, Glaude argues that we have the power to be the heroes our democracy needs to survive.
