CAMDEN — On Thursday, Oct. 3, Camden-Frontier will honor varsity volleyball coach Dawn Follis, with the naming of the all-new court in the renovated gym. Coach Follis has been the head coach at Camden-Frontier for 31 years.

It has been a road-warrior like season for the 2024 RedHawks, and the event will be the first held on the new court for the community to see.

Festivities will include the dedication of "Dawn Follis Court" at the beginning of the varsity match. The night will kick off at 4 p.m. with a middle school match. A J.V. and varsity match will follow against in-county rival North Adams-Jerome. The match begins at 7 p.m.

The evening will conclude with a reunion of past players and a reception following the match in the Commons area. Camden-Frontier Schools is asking the community to help spread the word to former players and alumni.

"Let's get out and support this historical event for Camden-Frontier and Coach Follis," Camden-Frontier Schools said in a press statement.
