Hillsdale soccer, led by coach Chad Spratt, plays in the Division 3, District 41 soccer bracket hosted by Quincy. However, it's first game will be over at Three Rivers high school for the quarterfinals round.

A 6:30 p.m. start is on the books for this matchup, meaning the game will be played under-the-lights. Hillsdale's key highlight wins of the season have been a 1-0 win over Onsted and a 2-1 win over Dundee. The team also has two ties to their name. Their three remaining games feature two home games back-to-back against Ida and then Jonesville. They face Hillsdale Academy in the County Cup battle on Oct. 7 to end their regular season.

Their quarterfinal at Three Rivers is slated to take place on Thursday, Oct. 10. Three Rivers has a 4-12 overall record as of Oct. 1. Their key wins of the season include a 6-2 win over a common opponent in Onsted and two wins over Dowagiac.

Should they win, they will face a Tuesday, Oct. 15 matchup at Quincy with the winner of Olivet or Quincy. That Quincy vs. Olivet quarterfinal, along with the semifinals and finals, will all be played at Quincy high school. We predict Olivet to be the probable opponent for the winner of Three Rivers and Hillsdale.

The opposite side of the bracket includes a quarterfinal between Constantine and Battle Creek Pennfield on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Constantine high school. The winner faces Eaton Rapids in game two of the semifinals. That matchup will be at Eaton Rapids. The finals will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Quincy. The time has yet to be determined but is listed at 4:30 p.m. at the GoFan ticketing website. Tickets are $7.
