Marsden Services Acquires HUB Enterprises
Marsden Services L.L.C., announced the acquisition of HUB Enterprises through Marsden’s wholly owned subsidiary company, American Security, L.L.C. HUB Enterprises is a security services contractor operating throughout Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas. The acquisition was completed in March 2024. American Security L.L.C. is a national security services contractor headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota. HUB Enterprises is headquartered in Broussard, Louisiana with a secondary office location in Mississippi. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Louisiana energy company causes oil spill
An oil spill that leaked more than 34,000 gallons out in a southern Louisiana bayou over the weekend has already killed wildlife and prompted a water conservation order for people in the area. The oil spill happened in Bayou Lafourche, about a half-hour drive northeast of Houma.The Lafourche Parish Government was made aware of the crude oil spill in the bayou on Saturday morning, finding that it was stemming from a stormwater canal near a highway intersection in Raceland.
