Rachel Minaya, Wife of Yankees Executive Omar, Found Dead — All Confirmed Details
Rachel Minaya, the wife of Yankees executive Omar Minaya, has died. Authorities found the Rachel deceased at their home in New Jersey on Saturday. According to the New York Post, Omar wasn't home at the time when his wife died. It's unclear at this point who discovered Rachel and what exactly that caused her death. A person close to the Minaya family said that authorities have ruled out suicide as a cause of death. Still, her death came quite suddenly and as a shock to the entire family.

Interactive Map Shows Smaller Housing Markets Have Seen the Bulk of Home Price Increases
Homes in mountain towns, resort areas, and small exurbs have grown in price since 2020. Since 2020, home prices have soared across the nation, but some areas of the U.S. have been more affected than others. The ResiClub blog put together an interactive map that shows which counties have seen the largest housing cost spikes from 2020 to 2024. That map indicates that the biggest home price increases were in smaller housing markets that many people flocked to during the pandemic housing boom, including beach towns, exurbs, and mountain towns.

The latest edition of Gerard Alessandrini’s Forbidden Broadway, which had originally been announced for Broadway, has delayed its Off-Broadway arrival by a week. As previously reported, the newest edition of the musical parody, Forbidden Broadway: Merrily We Stole A Song, will play Theater 555. Previews will now begin August 30, a week later than originally scheduled. Opening night is now set for September 19. The delay has been made so that the entire cast will be available for the start of rehearsals.
Trader Joe’s new Harlem location will open this week
Harlem’s first-ever Trader Joe’s will open on Thursday, July 25, the grocery store announced.
