An automated license plate reader helped the Secaucus Police Department bust trio that was shoplifting from Home Depot last week, Police Chief Dennis Miller announced. Wueilver Vasquez-Martinez, 25, Danyer Jimenez Naspe, 22, and Zallireth Rigio, 33, all of New York, New York, were each charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and using an anti-shoplifting device, Miller said in a statement.

Man admits abducting N.J. business owner, demanding ransom from his family
One of two men who kidnapped a business owner in New Jersey and drove him across state lines in a U-Haul truck pleaded guilty to federal charges on Monday.
