Fans Gush Over ‘So Sweet’ Moment as Miranda Lambert Invites ‘Miranda Junior’ to Join Her Onstage

Miranda Lambert’s fans are gushing over a “precious” moment that occurred during one of the country music star’s recent concerts.

The moment, which was captured on video, involved Lambert and a young fan who shares the “Kerosene” singer’s first name.

In footage that Lambert, 40, later posted on Instagram , she was seen helping a young fan up onto the stage during her July 5 show at the Grand Casino Hinckley in Hinckley, Minn. The young fan wore a pink dress with a tulle skirt, pink cowgirl boots and a tan cowgirl hat. She also wore pink earrings in the shape of the state of Texas and had with her a light-wash denim jacket, the back of which proudly displayed her name.

Specific details about the girl’s concert outfit—particularly the jacket and earrings—appeared to have captured the singer’s attention.

“What’s your name?” Lambert asked the girl once she was standing beside her. After telling the singer that she too was named Miranda, Lambert drew her in for a quick hug.

“I absolutely love your jacket,” the “House That Built Me” singer said as she inspected its detailing. “Did your mom make it?”

“My mom did it,” the girl confirmed when Lambert pointed the microphone in her direction.

The three-time Grammy Award winner looked to the audience as she praised the girl’s mother before adding, “Well, I just wanted to say hello, and I like your Texas earrings. Have you ever been to Texas?”

The girl paused before saying, “Thank you,” a response that drew laughter from Lambert and the audience. The “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer thanked her young fan for attending the show before bringing her in for a final hug and continuing on with the performance.

“I met the cutest lil gal also named MIRANDA last night,” Lambert wrote to caption her Instagram video on Saturday, July 6. “She stole the show and my heart! Minnesota y’all were so fun!”

Fans gushed over the adorable interaction in the comment section, with one person declaring that the young Miranda will likely “talk about this forever!”
