FERRISBURGH, Vt. — Crews responded to a tractor trailer fire Monday that spread to a nearby building in Ferrisburgh. At approximately 2:50 p.m., a tractor-trailer moving compressed gas unexpectedly caught fire and exploded, injuring the driver and setting a nearby structure on fire, according to the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles.
