James Duerr Completes Incoming Freshman Class For Massachusetts Hockey
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts hockey will welcome 6-2, 190-pound right-shot forward James Duerr to the squad for 2024-25, UMass head coach Greg Carvel announced on Thursday. Duerr, who comes to Amherst out of the United States Hockey League (USHL), joins forward Cameron Dunn, defensemen Francesco Dell'Elce, Daniel Jencko, Larry Keenan, Charlie Lieberman, Finn Loftus, Kazimier Sobieski and goaltender James Norton as the ninth and final member of the Minutemen's incoming freshman class.
Seven Student-Athletes Recognized on CSC Academic All-District Teams
NORTHAMPTON - Seven Smith College student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-Distric accolades, the organization announced throughout the year. The Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's elite student-athletes for their combined performances in their chosen sport and in the classroom. In order to earn a spot on the All-District Team, student-athletes must be a starter and maintain at least a 3.50 GPA.
