SUMMERS COUNTY, W.Va. — Project Linus, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing handmade blankets to children facing serious illness or trauma, is extending its reach to Southern West Virginia with a new chapter. Bodies found in Beckley believed to be mother and daughter from cold case
BECKLEY W.Va. (Hinton News) - Two sets of human remains were discovered by authorities on Monday, April 22, during an excavation related to a cold case. The bodies are believed to be those of Susan and Alex Carter who went missing in 2000. The West Virginia State Police and FBI conducted the excavation on a property located on Kyle Lane in Beckley where the suspect, Larry Webb, used to live.
