Prayers Needed for More Local Advocates
CASA of the South Plains is asking local churches and community members to pray for children in the foster care system. Today, there are approximately 800 children in foster care in the South Plains. Every one of these children have experienced some kind of abuse or neglect and desperately need our prayers and support.
Love Levelland LTRC group continues disaster assistance
For community members who are still needing assistance from the May 29 storm, Love Levelland’s Long Term Recovery Committee (LTRC) is continuing to lend a helping hand. Love Levelland has been hosting open hours for the community to apply for additional assistance and ask any questions they may have in regards to disaster relief since July 23.
