The Kansas Highway Patrol says that a 70-year-old Brownell man was driving westbound on K-4 when his Chevy Silverado went left of center. He crossed the lane and hit 62-year-old Joseph D. Vasquez of Hoisington on the driver’s side, causing his Dodge Ram to roll. Vasquez was pronounced dead, and the other man was taken to a hospital with suspected serious injuries.

The KHP says both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
