BOULDER, CO - The Great Boulder Duck Race is back in the City of Boulder on August 29th at Scoot Carpenter Pool's Lazy River. The annual event is free and open to the public.

The Great Boulder Duck Race is an event for fundraising by the PLAY Boulder Foundation, the official non-profit partner of the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department.

There are several options to participate in the event. You can adopt a duck (or ducks!), be a donor, or be a sponsor. You can adopt a duck for $11 and get a chance to win various prizes provided by sponsors of The Great Boulder Duck Race event. Each duck you adopt is a donation to PLAY Boulder Foundation.

The more duck you adopt, the more chance of winning you have. The donations received will help fund the Boulder Parks and Recreation's programming for low-income families and people with disabilities. Click here to adopt or join a team.

You can also become a donor and incentivize duck adoptions by providing products or experiences for prize drawings. Click here to become a donor.

There is also an opportunity to be a sponsor of the program and gain exposure for your brand and decorate it with a duckish style. It is not only for businesses. Families, neighborhoods, teams, clubs, and basically everyone can be a sponsor. Click here to become a sponsor.

The Great Boulder Duck Race has become a tradition in Boulder since 1988 and collaborates with the whole community to adopt, partner, or provide donations and contribute to society.
