Kearney Misko Seniors season comes to a close, Juniors in championship game
The Kearney Misko Seniors had their season come to a close at the A7 Seniors District Tournament in Scottsbluff. The Misko Seniors fell to the North Platte FNBO Nationals on Friday, 7-6. They were scheduled to play the Grand Island Home Federal Seniors on Saturday, but the game was pushed to Sunday morning after severe weather forced the rest of the day’s baseball to be called off. The Sunday morning game would go in favor of Home Federal, 6-4.
Second round of Summer EBT payments going out
LINCOLN — The second round of Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) payments will be sent out by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) today. Eligible households will receive a new Summer EBT card with $120 per child starting on July 19. Households will receive only one card with the full benefit amount for all eligible children.
