High Elevation Road Trip Begins With 10-7 Loss
In perhaps a harbinger of things to come, the Rainiers dropped the opening game of a nine-game high-elevation road trip with a 10-7 slugfest loss to the Salt Lake Bees. This could be the start of a run of high-scoring games for the Rainiers. The road trip is comprised of three games in the mountainous region of Utah, and then six games at mile-high Albuquerque – which has one of the highest-scoring ballparks in America.
