Roy mayor wants Ogden Airport moved
ROY, Utah — After a plane crashed into the yard of a Roy home last Wednesday, Roy City Mayor Robert Dandoy said he wants to see the Ogden Airport moved. According to Dandoy, plane crashes are not uncommon in Roy. In 2020, a plane crash damaged two homes. In 2017, there was a crash on one of the city’s major roadways. Both of those crashes were fatal.

A four-part mindfulness workshop is one of several upcoming events happening at Park City’s Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter. The 1,200-acre nature preserve and education center offers a number of hands-on programs year-round. Construction in Provo affects small businesses
The Utah Department of Transportation is currently updating 300 South near downtown Provo and local businesses on the road are struggling to make ends meet. The construction started on Feb. 14 and is scheduled to finish by the end of the year. Jackie Johns, the owner of Utah Safety Emissions Testing, said the construction process has been difficult because customers have no idea how to get to their business.
