MISSOURI (KOAM) -- "In Missouri, 15 people died and 477 were injured in 1,058 traffic crashes over the 2023 Labor Day holiday. This means one person was killed or injured every 9.5 minutes," according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Oregon woman dead after fatal two car wreck
(HOLT COUNTY, Mo.) According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H, a two-vehicle wreck half a mile southeast of Oregon took the life of one local woman. MSHP says a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 21-year-old Chelsey Guyer from Fillmore, Missouri, was traveling northbound on US Highway 59 when it crossed the center line. The vehicle then struck the front driver's side of a 2018 Ford Ecosport driven by 57-year-old Angela Woods from Oregon, causing both vehicles to travel off the roadway.
Cardinals Catcher Called Up From Triple-A
Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera has been called up to the majors to serve as backup catcher after the injury to Willson Contreras. After beginning the season as the Cardinals backup catcher, Herrera was sent to Triple-A in June following a return from injury and was not recalled until August 25. In the meantime, Pedro Pages has cemented himself as a plus defensive and a solid offensive option for the club. This leaves Herrera’s position within the organization in limbo, barring injuries.
