South Pittsburg’s Loyd Park debuts additional ‘Pickleball’ courts
The South Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department has announced the addition of two more pickleball courts at Loyd Park. The two new courts bring the total number now to four. Pickleball, a racket or paddle sport involving two or four players, similar to tennis was first played in Washington State in the USA in 1965 and has grown immensely in popularity across the nation and locally in recent years.
