Airbnb Transforms Polly Pocket Compact Into A Life-Size Home

Airbnb has announced that it has transformed Polly Pocket’s iconic compact home into a life-size home in time for the toy’s 35th anniversary.

The vintage-themed home is a two-story Slumber Party Fun compact filled with “nostalgic surprises,” according to the company’s press release . Additionally, the 42-foot home is located in Littleton, Massachusetts, and guests can request to book a three-night stay from September 12 to 14 for four guests, at $89 per person. Some of the home’s features include Polly’s vanity filled with her hair and nail accessories, a 90s-style fridge filled with snacks, and custom Polly-themed DIY charm bracelets.

“Let’s have some serious slumber party fun in my hometown of Littleton, where we make the ordinary extraordinary. There’s adventure to be had from my closet full of nostalgic fashion fun to the surprises I’ve left hidden around the compact. The fun is endless!” Polly said on the website. However, the compact home does not have a bed, so guests are expected to sleep outside in Polly’s Action Park Tent or on her pullout couch.

Fans who grew up with the pocket-sized doll reacted to the news on social media and had various reactions to the unique Airbnb experience. One person wrote, “There is a Polly Pocket Airbnb and by god I need to stay there. I am seriously considering buying a old Polly pocket to have because I miss that f***ing joy.” Another wrote, “can someone let me into the polly pocket airbnb i need to chew on everything immediately .”

Guests can book their stay starting on August 21 and ending on August 28. For fans who missed out, there will be 21 experiences from September 16 to October 6 for up to 12 guests who want to go on a daytime adventure.
