Nearly 10 months after the tragic death of actor Matthew Perry , who succumbed to the acute effects of the drug ketamine, law enforcement has made multiple arrests in connection with the case.

As previously reported, Perry, 54, was discovered unresponsive after drowning in his pool at his Los Angeles home on October 28. Sources within law enforcement informed TMZ TMZ that the ketamine found in Perry’s system was not legally prescribed. Following an extensive criminal investigation that involved several agencies, including the DEA, U.S. Postal Service, and the LAPD, authorities finally apprehended multiple individuals.

According to reports from Thursday, at least one doctor has been arrested, along with several drug dealers. Law enforcement officials stated that they executed search warrants and seized computers, phones, and other electronic devices to identify the individuals responsible for supplying Perry with the illegal drug that ultimately led to his death.

Perry had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy as a treatment for depression and anxiety. The medical examiner’s report revealed that the levels of ketamine present in his body were alarmingly high—comparable to those administered for general anesthesia during surgical procedures. It is alleged that the doctor and drug dealers arrested played a significant role in arranging and delivering the ketamine to Perry.

TMZ also noted that investigators uncovered text messages in which the group discussed the price that the “Friends” actor would pay for the drug. During the course of their investigation, authorities reportedly discovered connections to other celebrities who were involved in the drug scene in Hollywood.

At this time, the identities of the arrested doctor and drug dealers have not been made public, nor has any additional information has been disclosed.
