#Socialites, get a load of this! Although a pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard insists that her current boyfriend Ken Urker is the father of her unborn daughter, she is waiting until she’s gives birth to establish paternity and rule out her estranged husband Ryan Anderson , according to TMZ .

As a refresher, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker reportedly began their relationship while she was in prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her allegedly abusive mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Urker, her pen pal, proposed in 2018, but they broke up in 2019. Eventually, Blanchard married Ryan Scott Anderson in July 2022 after meeting him as a pen pal also.
Blanchard was then released from prison in December 2023, but the couple would go on to separate just three months later. Days after news of her separation made headlines, Gyspy Rose Blanchard was seen getting matching tattoos with her then-ex-fiancé Ken Urker.
On April 8, 2024, Blanchard officially filed for divorce from Anderson, nearly two years after tying the knot in prison. In her split from her husband, she also cited alleged domestic violence and soon filed for a temporary restraining order. Retaliating, Anderson filed a restraining order of his own against her. Moving on, Blanchard rekindled things with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker, and in early July she announced she was pregnant.

Days after her pregnancy reveal, Gypsy Rose Blanchard confirmed that Ken Urker is the father of her unborn baby, despite her recent separation from her husband Ryan Anderson. On July 12, she told ‘ Good Morning America ,’ “It was mid-March when I left Ryan. So, this is absolutely 100 percent Ken’s baby. There was never any question of paternity.”
She echoed her comments on social media, telling fans , “Left Ryan March 23rd had a period April 17th, made love with Ken and only him April 27, 28, 29, 30 and conceived on May 4th positive test on May 24th. KEN IS THE FATHER.” Despite Blanchard insisting that her current man is her unborn baby’s father, Ryan Anderson said he still has to get a DNA test due to Louisiana state law.

Last Sunday (August 10), as Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker shared to their social media the gender of the baby, a baby girl, Ryan Anderson took to social media too and revealed he’s getting a paternity test. He told his TikTok followers he doesn’t “have a choice” but to “get a DNA test” due to Louisiana’s state law for establishing paternity for separated yet still married couples.
Per state law, if Blanchard gives birth BEFORE her and Anderson’s divorce is finalized, he would be listed as the father on the birth certificate. Therefore, the only way to change that would be to get a paternity test revealing Urker is the true father.

He said, “I hate being in this situation. The way the timeline matches up — I don’t think it’s mine, but I don’t know. The DNA test is going to prove it. Crazier things have happened. I just don’t know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions.”
But now, TMZ reports that Anderson is deciding to wait on taking a DNA test, claiming he and Blanchard plan to delay testing until after her baby girl is born, being that it’ll be easier and cheaper. The publication’s sources close to Anderson say the paternity test before birth will cost between $500 to $2,000 and that the post-birth test ranges from $150 to $200.
