Yikes! Nicki Minaj is facing a new lawsuit as one of her fans is suing her for $5 million, accusing her of slander, by allegedly calling him a mentally unstable stalker; he also accuses her husband of allegedly battering him.

According to TMZ , the Queens, New York rapper has been painted as a bully as she allegedly pissed off one of her Barbz who claims she publicly humiliated him by allegedly calling him a mentally unstable stalker. The publication reports that Nicki Minaj was named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by plaintiff Tameer Peak in a Los Angeles Superior Court.

The court documents obtained show Peak referring to himself as one of Nicki Minaj’s most loyal followers for the past 15 years. He claims he even helped her career by proactively promoting her 2023 album ‘ Pink Friday 2 .’

However, the plaintiff claims things first got messy back in 2017 when, according to the lawsuit, Nicki Minaj went through her “Nicki hate train” phase and allegedly began accusing her fans, like Peak, of being paid informants sent to sabotage her career. In his slander lawsuit, Peak claims Nicki Minaj publicly ridiculed him and that on one occasion she allegedly invited him to her hotel to film him and embarrass him in front of hundreds of thousands of fans on Instagram Live.

The superfan continued to claim that Nicki Minaj also mistreated him during a Super Bowl weekend event in 2020. He alleged that the rapper’s husband, Kenneth Petty , battered him and that she allegedly later messaged him on social media about the alleged incident. Fast forward to 2024, Tameer Peak now claims that he received several messages from other people claiming Nicki Minaj allegedly wants him to “stop saying dumb sh*t,” as it’s hurting his reputation with other fans.

The plaintiff even alleges that Nicki Minaj has been attacking him on X (formerly Twitter) and on several Stationhead sessions, where the rapper interacts live with her fans. Recalling an alleged incident, Peak alleged that Nicki Minaj wrote, “It’s clear they’re not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic” — which he understood as her calling him mentally unstable or intellectually deficient.

In another alleged incident, Peak claimed that his idol accused him of being “one sandwich short of a picnic” and received a check from the government, implying he was on public assistance (welfare) or possibly social security disability. The fan also claimed that Nicki Minaj told her record label that he’s “a stalker” who impersonated members of her team, so he’s now suing her for $5 million in damages for reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss.

In an updated post, TMZ reports that Nicki Minaj’s attorney, Judd Burstein , told them, “Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail. He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”
