Lil Baby was seen going back and forth with police officers during his arrest in Las Vegas for having an illegal firearm, and the entire incident was recorded on video.

According to an eyewitness who spoke with TMZ, a group of officers arrived at the Encore Las Vegas on Monday night and came out with the rapper restrained in handcuffs. He was ultimately escorted into a police vehicle and taken to the Clark County Detention Center. After posting a $5,000 bail, he has since been released.

While Las Vegas Metro PD officers were searching the rapper near a police vehicle situated behind the hotel, Lil Baby exclaimed that he possessed a license for the firearm and urged the officers to release him. The officers weren’t swayed by his pleas, and Lil Baby grew increasingly frustrated, resorting to trash talk. At one moment, he even challenged the officers to search him carefully, claiming he had the “gun in his nuts.”

Soon after his arrest, law enforcement sources informed TMZ that Lil Baby was captured on video receiving a gun at the Encore in Las Vegas.

Officers responded, conducted an investigation, and took him into custody for allegedly possessing a concealed firearm without a permit.

It’s important to note that Nevada does not honor concealed-carry permits issued in Georgia, which is Lil Baby’s home state.
