Blake Lively is reportedly upset by the unexpected backlash surrounding her film “It Ends With Us.”

A close source claims she felt “vulnerable” because she was “constantly in the news for negative reasons, which is something she’s not accustomed to.” According to PEOPLE , the backlash felt overwhelming for the actress, who reportedly struggled to control the narrative.  However, Lively will continue to appear in more projects despite the controversy.

“Blake enjoys her work and will continue pursuing projects she’s passionate about,” the source added. Lively, who also served as a producer for “It Ends With Us”, saw the film become the highest-grossing project of her career. However, reports of tension between her and co-star Justin Baldoni, who also directed the film, fueled speculation.
