According to a new report by ABC News, Justin Timberlake has come to an agreement regarding his driving under the influence case in the Hamptons.

According to the news outlet who spoke with sources familiar with the situation, the pop star is set to appear in Sag Harbor Village court on Friday to enter a guilty plea and pay a fine, which will settle the misdemeanor charges against him. Back in June, Timberlake was stopped by police as he was leaving the American Hotel after he failed to stop at a stop sign and veered into oncoming traffic. A police report indicated that the officer detected the smell of alcohol on his breath.

According to a criminal complaint, police observed that Timberlake had bloodshot, glassy eyes, exhibited slow speech, was unsteady on his feet, and struggled during a field sobriety test. The complaint also mentioned that Timberlake informed the arresting officer that he had consumed just one drink.

Justin’s driver’s license will still be suspended in New York as a standard procedure because he declined to take a Breathalyzer test when stopped by rookie officer Michael Arkinson. In New York, refusing a Breathalyzer results in an automatic one-year license suspension. However, the silver lining for Justin is that he is facing relatively light consequences.

Disgusting. Everyone else gets yr in prison 10,000 dollar fine suspended license, forced aaa meetings, and permanent record. There is no justice for the common folk. You have money, clout, juice you can get out of being held accountable and disciplined. Its a joke. He was given a pass.
