Police in Ohio were surprised to find an 8-year-old girl had driven herself to a local Target after taking her mother’s vehicle. According to WJW , the Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a missing child. Shortly after, another call came in about a small child seen driving east on Rockside Road.

Officers quickly discovered the vehicle at a Target parking lot. Inside the store, they found the young girl casually shopping. She managed to drive approximately 10 miles from her home to the store. The girl also admitted to hitting a mailbox during her journey. “Well I’ve finally found a woman who’s in more of a hurry to shop at Target than my wife. More of hurry by 8 years. That’s right an 8 year old took mommy’s car this morning and drove to Target in Bainbridge to shop,” the police department wrote in a Facebook post.

Forutnately, the incident ended safely, and the girl was returned home without any injuries. “ Not sure what she bought, or if she was even able to use her Target app to save 5%. We did let her finish her Frappuccino. We’re not mean,” the officers continued in the post. The Bedford Police Department did not release additional details about the child or her family.

Fox 10 also reported a separate event in which drone footage from Ohio recently captured significant damage to the back of a Target store. The store had partially collapsed due to a slipping hillside. The footage, recorded on February 14 by Jacob Tyler Meadows, showed the extent of the damage caused by the unstable ground.
