Welp, rapper YG has found himself in a bit of a legal pickle, facing a misdemeanor DUI charge in the sunny realm of Burbank, California.

According to law enforcement sources who spoke with TMZ, YG was spotted Tuesday morning by a couple of officers after he decided to take his vehicle on a little adventure over a curb. TMZ managed to snag a snapshot from the scene. In it, YG can be seen perched on the curb, head resting on his arms, while cops are seen standing in front of him.

Now, before you start speculating on what may have led to this curbside chill session, it’s important to note that the officers were a bit vague on whether YG was under the influence of drug or alcohol. No breathalyzer test was administered, but they did opt for a blood sample. Ultimately YG was booked for his misdemeanor DUI.

Meanwhile, his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, assured the world and the news outlet that he’s on the case like a hawk. His primary concern? YG’s health and wellbeing. Tacopina is currently playing detective, gathering intel and ensuring that if any legal shenanigans arise, they’ll be handled with finesse.

So, while YG may be facing some bumps on his road to stardom, let’s hope he learns to steer clear of curbs—and perhaps the occasional late-night drive.

    More Celebrity Arrests:

Unfortunately YG isn’t the only celebrity to get arrested for a DUI this week. Kicking off the new month, former NFL star Eddie Lacy was thrown behind bars in Arizona on Monday night after cops claimed he was driving while drunk.

So, while YG may be facing some bumps on his road to stardom, let’s hope he learns to steer clear of curbs—and perhaps the occasional late-night drive.

Singer Justin Timberlake was recently let off the hook in his DUI case. On the bright side, he seemed to have learn from his great mistake. He said after court last month,

“I have a platform, you have a platform, we have a platform. Even if you’ve had one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car—call a friend, call an Uber. There are many travel apps. This is a mistake I made, and I hope everyone listening to this will learn from my mistake. But like I said, even with one drink, don’t get behind the wheel.”
