Diddy Seeks Release with New Appeal

Diddy is making another attempt to secure his release from jail after his legal team filed new documents appealing the latest decision to deny him bond.

In the legal documents, the mogul’s attorney argues that their client is not a flight risk, contradicting the claims made by prosecutors. TMZ asserts that the suggested $50 million bail package includes sufficient restrictions to address witness tampering or fleeing concerns. As part of the conditions, Diddy has agreed to limit visitors to only family members, with no female visitors allowed, while he awaits trial at his Miami home.

He has offered to continue efforts to sell his private jet, avoid contact with grand jury witnesses, and undergo weekly drug tests. This marks his third formal attempt to be released while he awaits trial in his federal case. As previously reported, Diddy was arrested by federal agents at the Park Hyatt New York hotel on September 16th.

Six months after federal agents raided his properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a sex trafficking investigation, he was arrested. Diddy has denied the allegations in criminal cases and various civil lawsuits, pleading not guilty to all charges.

Diddy is currently held in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
