Lil Baby will not face prosecution following his arrest in Las Vegas, where he was charged with illegally carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, according to new information obtained by TMZ.

The news outlet reports that the felony charge that the rapper was facing due to his arrest in August has been dismissed. The documents indicate that the Clark County District Attorney has decided not to pursue any charges.

As we previously shared, Lil Baby was arrested after authorities reported that they had video footage of him receiving a firearm at Encore Las Vegas. Law enforcement arrived at the resort, conducted an investigation, and then took the rapper into custody.

According to an eyewitness who spoke with TMZ, a group of officers arrived at the Encore Las Vegas on Monday night and came out with the rapper restrained in handcuffs.

While Las Vegas Metro PD officers were searching the rapper near a police vehicle behind the hotel, Lil Baby explained that he possessed a license for the firearm and urged the officers to release him. The officers weren’t swayed by his pleas, and Lil Baby grew increasingly frustrated, resorting to trash talk. At one moment, he even challenged the officers to search him carefully, claiming he had the “gun in his nuts.”

Overall it looks like Baby is in the clear of any charges and will continue to have a successful rap career.
