A convention celebrating all things cat is coming back to the Jersey Shore — no kitten!

The Catsbury Park Cat Convention takes place Saturday, Oct. 5, at Bell Works in Holmdel and features influencers, rescuers, educators and entertainers.

There will more than 50 vendors selling cat-themed merchandise; an on-site cat cafe where people can meet adoptable pets; expert speakers and panels about wellness, rescue, and Trap-Neuter-Return, organizers say.

There also will be interactive events, Cat Tattoos by Neptune Tattooville, and Sarah Potter, who will provide pet blessings, animal communication and tarot readings.

Also appearing is Hannah "Kitten Lady" Shaw, who will offer meet-and-greet sessions and a 90-minute workshop. VIP ticketholders get exclusive access to the meet-and-greet, and are guaranteed front-row reserved seating for the workshop.

The event is hosted by Catsbury Park, an Asbury Park-based nonprofit organization with a mission to help "save the lives of cats and kittens in need through rescue, TNR and education at the Jersey Shore and beyond." All proceeds benefit Catbury Park and partnered charities.

“We are beyond excited to bring this event back to the Jersey Shore! After a long hiatus, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Long-time fans know they can expect an unforgettable experience, and newcomers are in for something unique," said Catsbury Park founder DJ Bornschein in a news release.

Bornschein founded Catsbury Park in July 2016 as a foster-based cat rescue rescue before opening a cat cafe and later an adoption center and lounge on 3rd Avenue in Asbury Park.
