Local nonprofit sponsoring Ride or Walk event to “Break the Cycle” of addiction
180 is sponsoring a Ride or Walk event to “Break the Cycle” of addiction. Individuals can choose between three bike routes, or a 5K walk in downtown Wooster or one on the Holmes County Trail. The bike ride consists of either a 24-, 50- or 72-mile ride through the scenic countryside of Wayne and Holmes counties. The event will take place on August 24. Holmes Center for the Arts is hosting a Girls Running Club 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays in July. The first run will take place at the Hiland High School track. What started out as a way to help dancers cross train throughout the summer has turned into a desire to see a community of ladies (young and old) come together to encourage each other to run.
