HOLTON ( KSNT ) – A local business is set to be featured on the silver screen.

“More Than Lemons” in Holton received the opportunity to showcase their blown glass artwork and skills in numerous scenes on the upcoming independent family-centric comedy film “25 Miles to Normal.”

The indie film is being shot across the state line in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Owner April Lemon told 27 News how she received the opportunity to showcase her business, as well teaching the actors the art of glass blowing.

“I had blown glass in St. Joseph several times at various events,” Lemon said. “And so, when they were looking for a glass blower and a glass shop owner to set up for one, a couple of scenes, they have thought of me. Because I have worked with them in the past.”

But when she got the opportunity to work one-on-one with the stars, Lemon expressed how “exciting and amazing” the experience was.

“And to help Michelle learn how to blow glass well enough to perform the scene,” Lemon said. “That was amazing.”

Lemon herself will be featured blowing glass in the movie alongside American actress Michelle Hurd during a scene. Lemon even got to say a couple of lines in the scene as well.
