Nueva Esperanza hosts Love & Hope for Holyoke Day of Worship

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Nueva Esperanza will be hosting a special gathering on Saturday designed to bring the community together in a peaceful and uplifting way.

Love & Hope for Holyoke Day of Worship is a daylong event that is dedicated to spreading positivity, love, and hope. This event, which is in collaboration with Mass in Motion, Iglesia Templo Ebenezer, One Holyoke, and Unified Worship, is meant for attendees to connect with their neighbors, experience the power of community and faith, and enjoy a day that will be filled with hope and love.

The day will begin with a community clean-up at 10 AM. At noon, attendees will be reaching out to spread the word about this event and invite families to attend. Free giveaways of groceries and toiletries will take place at 5:30 PM, and live music performed by the talented Unified Worship Band will begin at 6 PM. Local pastors will then share positive and uplifting messages with attendees.

This event is part of the Holyoke Cultural Resilience Cookbook that was managed by Mass in Motion in partnership with Nueva Esperanza through the El Corazón Project/The Heart of Holyoke, alongside many other partners. The goal of this event is to promote positivity through acts of love, and support for the community, and by offering resources, compassion, and uplifting messages.
