Families participated in the Holyoke Mall free Tykes Tuesday

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art visited the Holyoke Mall on Tuesday.

Children and their families were able to participate in the hands-on workshop. They were able to create collages and explore different types of paper. Children also got a chance to get their faces painted.

This was all a part of the Holyoke Mall’s Tykes Tuesday summer program where different entertainers come to the mall for different events every Tuesday.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to sign up ahead of time on the Holyoke Mall’s website .

Tykes Tuesday Schedule from 11 a.m. to noon in Macy’s Court:

• August 6: Discover the Beauty of Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory
• August 13: Meet & Greet with Holyoke Fire Department
• August 20: Magical Moments with Ed Popielarczyk

Special promotions will be available at the Tyke’s Tuesday registration table to be redeemed on Tuesdays during the series.
