MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - 19 former K-State players could hit the field this season. The 19 former Wildcats on opening-weekend NFL rosters are the most since they also had 19 to open the 2009 season. Of the 19 players, 12 are on offense and seven are on defense. Released in conjunction with the start of the 2024 college football season, The bobbleheads will be available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store at this link. Riley County Genealogical Society to Host 4th Annual Pie Party on Platt House Lawn
The Riley County Genealogical Society will host its 4th Annual Pie Party on the lawn of the Historic Platt House in Manhattan on Sunday, September 15th at 2:00 p.m. The party will feature the local Acoustic Folk n Roll Band the “Grateful Dudes” performing at 2:30. Judy Regehr with the Genealogical Society said the idea of a Pie Party came about after a Kansas State University Professor’s Retirement Party.
