Custom golf club fitting studio to open at Bridgewater Commons

BRIDGEWATER – A national custom golf club fitter will be opening in The Village at Bridgewater Commons later this fall.

Club Champion announced it will open its sixth New Jersey location on Nov. 18 in the retail area on Commons Way which also hosts Chipotle, Maggiano's, Shake Shack, Starbucks and Charles Schwab.

Club Champion will have three indoor hitting bays with TrackMan launch monitors for analyzing performance, a SAM PuttLab system to help find the perfect putter, and a shop for repairing and assembling golf clubs.

The roughly 2,900-square-foot space will also include 65,000 hittable combinations from brands like TaylorMade, PING, Titleist, Cobra, Fujikura, Golf Pride, and many other brands.

"We’re looking forward to helping golfers in the Bridgewater area play their best golf,” said Nick Sherburne, founder of Club Champion. “New Jersey is a great market for us, and we’re excited to make our Tour-level fitting services even more accessible to those avid golfers.”

Established in 2010, there are more than 140 Club Champion locations internationally, including studios in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. The company is headquartered in Willowbrook, Ill. and has more than 400 employees.

Cost of a custom club fitting ranges from $100 for a one-hour wedge fitting to $400 for a three-hour full bag fitting.
