Parkland College scores big with new food service vendor selection
CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today)— Parkland College will welcome a new food service provider for the 2024-2025 academic year. During the Parkland College Board of Trustees’ monthly meeting on Wednesday, board members approved Campus Culinary Solutions, LLC of Champaign as the new food service provider for Parkland College beginning Aug. 1 through May 31, 2027. Campus Culinary Solutions replaces Hendrick House, Inc., which had operated at the campus since 2018.

HOOPESTON — Hoopeston police arrested two men on Thursday for allegedly possessing methamphetamine. The Hoopeston Police Department arrested Anthony J. Chandler, 42, near West Maple Street and South First Avenue around 1 a.m. after identifying he had an active warrant from Vermilion County for failure to appear in court for allegedly possessing methamphetamine.
