Police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ shooting suspect from Texarkana
HOPE, Ark. (KTAL/KMSS) – Police in Hope are searching for a Texarkana teen suspected of shooting a man late Sunday night. According to authorities, officers responded to the scene on the 400 block of South Elm St. around 9:25 p.m. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Mangum Named to NABC Honors Court
RUSTON – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its annual Honors Court on Monday, a list that includes Louisiana Tech's Dravon Mangum. The Bulldog was one of five players voted to the Conference USA All-Academic Team back in March. He carried a 3.60 cumulative grade point average while pursuing his master's degree in Counseling and Guidance at LA Tech.
Shreveport Firefighters Contain Single-Story Residential Fire
Shreveport Fire Department fire crews were dispatched at 9:39pm Sunday (7/14/24) evening to the 200 block of Egan Ave to a report of a single story residence fire. The first arriving SFD fire unit on scene reported the residence to have light smoke coming from the rear right side of the residence.
