District 1 News: New resolution authorizes city to contract with plumbers
Hello everyone, At the start of the summer season, my office received numerous calls asking about the status of various water features and drinking fountains within city parks. An interesting thing has happened. The Pirates have become a dangerous team. Before the Cardinals series against the Braves happened, the talking heads on the radio were talking about how likely it was that the Cardinals would start the post-All Star break 2-4, and while there was some disagreement, it seemed to them more likely they would lose 2 of 3 to the Pirates than the Braves. This was before one of the starters was Bryce Elder and when Max Fried was supposed to be the Sunday starter.
