Brandon Aiyuk: Steelers’ Top Target Over George Pickens, NFL Pass Stats Comparison
San Francisco wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk's mention of the Pittsburgh Steelers doesn't necessarily hint at an immediate team switch, as he still favors the 49ers and even ranked Washington Commanders above the Steelers. Despite this, the case for Aiyuk joining Pittsburgh remains open, possibly beneficial for both parties unless it's merely a negotiating tactic. Aiyuk, recognizing his potential as a top target, contemplates the prospect of being the primary receiver in Pittsburgh, particularly over George Pickens. Brian Batko speculates that Aiyuk perceives himself as more accomplished and successful than Pickens, positioning himself as the top dog in the Steelers' lineup.

Proposing a Guardians-Pirates Trade
The Cleveland Guardians need a starting pitcher and a right-handed hitting right-fielder. The Pittsburgh Pirates need young hitters and lots of them. Let’s make a deal. Against LHP, the Guardians have a 76 wRC+ from their right-fielders, making for the 25th worst mark there in MLB. Cleveland has been trying Jhonkensy Noel and Johnathan Rodriguez for the role of lefty-mashing right-fielder, but both are young, unproven options. Bill Cowher on the athleticism of Steelers rookie Payton Wilson: ‘It’s off the charts’
Much like last season when the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to get defensive tackle Keenau Benton in the middle of the second round of the 2023 NFL draft, Pittsburgh might have scooped up another dynamic athletic defender outside of the first round with linebacker Payton Wilson this year. Unfounded injury concerns pushed Wilson to the end of the third round and the Steelers wasted no time bringing in the former North Carolina State star. Former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher gushed about Wilson and when you consider just how many great linebackers he coached, it’s hard to argue with his reasoning. “His athletic...
