HONOLULU (KHON2) — Windward City Shopping Center’s new addition has generated much buzz lately. Kaneohe Dim Sum Station specializes in fresh, made-to-order dim sum and other Chinese culinary delights.

Wake Up 2Day was joined by owner Terry Cheung and restaurant manager Nancy Cheung to learn about the new ono spot.

The concept for the restaurant is more of an express style, where you can order and sit down or order fresh and take it to go.

“We opened our Kapiolani location two years ago, and it has been very well received by our customers, many of whom travel from outside Honolulu to dine with us,” said Nancy. “They have frequently expressed a desire for a location on the windward side as there are no dim sum restaurants in that area and many of our patrons reside there.”

“In addition to our Kapiolani location, we launched the Honolulu Seafood Restaurant on Feb. 1 of this year. To better serve our windward side guests, we recently opened a new restaurant at Windward City Shopping Center. We are pleased to report that the turnout has been excellent, with a strong response from the community,” Terry added.

Some of their popular dishes include: shrimp shumai, har gow, look fun, cha siu bao and beef chow fun.

They are also running a special discount for a limited time.

“Right now, we are doing 10% off all menu items at our Windward City Shopping Center location until July 15,” Nancy said.

They are located at Windward City Shopping Center right across from McDonald’s in the parking lot located off of Kaneohe Bay Drive.

Visit their new location daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can follow Windward City Shopping Center on Instagram @WindwardCity or visit their website.
