Can Hawaii get bowl eligible? Our early call is no, but that’s who’s a lock to get here if available.
Unlike some of the other bowls with distinct conference tie-ins, this one should hold form even with so many Power Four teams likely available.
UNLV would be a great fit, but it already makes a trip to Hawaii in early November. Colorado State doesn’t play Hawaii at all, and it’s never been in this bowl.
The Conference USA side is trickier without a lot of teams likely available. Liberty, Jacksonville State, or Western Kentucky will all be in the mix with the Hilltoppers our early call.
