The major problem we face is the staff to patient ratio. We aren't approved to have enough staff, therefore one person ends up with taking care of 12+ people at one time. Night time it's worse, you have only one staff in each section of each building. If someone falls, we have to pull a staff from another location in the building leaving that section empty while we assess and handle the situation with the resident that has fallen. Honest to God we all give our absolute 100% of ourselves but there's only so much we can do with the state regulations.
