Holy Ghost Parish welcomes new priest
The parish family of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, Jessup, recently welcomed Father Timothy and Pani Angela Kennedy to their church. Originally from New Jersey, Father Tim recently completed his studies at the Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh. He holds a Master's in Theology with a concentration in ministerial leadership. He graduated with honors and was ordained by Bishop Kurt Burnette into the priesthood on May 25, 2024. Father Tim was a deacon for 13 years, serving parishes in New Jersey and Florida.

Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church will host its annual rummage sale Aug. 2-4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the La Salle Academy Gym, 309 First Ave., Jessup. Items for the sale will be accepted any Wednesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the gym until July 27.
