IDAHO FALLS — The Eagle Rock Art Guild’s annual Sidewalk Art Festival is returning for its 69th year this weekend. The Eagle Rock Art Guild (ERAG) is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization founded in 1948. Their annual Sidewalk Art Festival will take place on Saturday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Riverwalk on Memorial Drive.
2024 INL hunting passes available at the Idaho Falls office, new online training also required
Those with elk and pronghorn tags that are eligible to hunt on Idaho National Laboratory (INL) lands can now pick up their 2024 INL Hunting Pass. Hard copies can be picked up at the Upper Snake Regional Office, located at 4279 Commerce Circle, Idaho Falls. Digital copies can be obtained by calling the office at 208-525-7290. Pocatello City Council Votes on 2024 Budget Amendment
At tonight’s Pocatello City Council meeting a number of items were discussed and voted on. One of the main agenda items was the budget addition of $2.7 million dollars to the city’s 2024 budget. This money would be used to buy and improve the Western Recycling building at 3034 Garrett Way in Pocatello. With the recycling plant going up for sale, the city was looking at losing its city recycling program. By purchasing the recycling plant, the city will continue its program at a lower cost per tonnage. The City Council voted unanimously voted in favor of the budget amendment.
